"Embracing the Spirit at a Time of Crisis". Reflection for the 7th Week of Easter, 17 May.

“Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me.” (John 17: 11) by Mgr Daniel McHugh, the Co-ordinator for Ethnic Chaplaincies and Eastern Catholic Churches in the Archdiocese of Birmingham. 

This week's focus is on the Pope’s 1st Anniversary of his election and Our Lady of Pompeii; a shrine not well known in the UK.

A 10-minute pause to be still and reflect on our Mission with the help of scripture, music/song, pictures, a homily and Adoration intended to lead into personal prayer and action.
