Join people from across England and Wales for the National Justice and Peace Network (NJPN) Conference 2026, a national gathering focused on dialogue, communication, and peace-building in today’s world.

With the theme “Just Talk”, this year’s conference explores how we can respond to disinformation and division, and promote meaningful dialogue rooted in truth and respect.

What to expect

The conference brings together a wide range of speakers, workshops, and shared experiences, including:

  • Keynote contributions (invited speaker: Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester – subject to availability)
  • Talks from leading voices in public life, including Sir John Battle and Billy Vaughan
  • Workshops on communication, justice, and social engagement
  • Ecumenical dialogue and opportunities to connect with community groups
  • The popular “Just Fair”, showcasing social justice organisations

The weekend is fully residential and includes all meals, refreshments, and a Friday evening wine reception.

An inclusive national gathering

This conference is open to all and aims to model genuine dialogue across differences. Sessions will include BSL interpretation, and members of the Deaf community are especially welcome.
