Mass was celebrated at St Michael’s, Moor Street, by Fr Krzysztof Kita, with Cathedral Dean, Canon Brian McGinley, preaching on the Eucharist. Following Mass, around 200 people took part in a Eucharistic procession through the city streets to St Chad’s Cathedral. Led by Canon David Hartley, clergy and faithful processed in prayerful witness. Children, including those who had recently made their First Holy Communion, scattered petals before the Blessed Sacrament, while hymns and songs from different cultural traditions fostered a spirit of reverence and joy. The celebration concluded with Benediction at the Cathedral. Photo Gallery Manage Cookie Preferences
