He will be fully welcomed into the Catholic Church this Easter, 2026. Please tell us a little about what drew you towards wanting to become a Catholic. I was Baptised as C of E but never confirmed. In 2013 I married my wife (who is a Catholic) in our local Catholic church, so have been attending Mass over the past 10 years or so. My mother sadly died last year and throughout her long illness and final weeks Fr Tom was a huge support to us all, visiting her in hospital and at home. We are eternally grateful to him for this. I have always had a faith and felt that this was the right time to formally commit to becoming a Catholic. I really feel at home in the church and community. Please tell us something you have learned during your period of formation to become a Catholic. I have learnt a lot about the Bible, and the development of the Catholic church, the importance of living a life rooted in faith in our fractured world and society, and how nice it feels to be part of such a welcoming community. Please tell us something you are looking forward to, following your reception into the Catholic Church.
