Our parish hall was filled with warmth, conversation, and community spirit as we hosted Coffee with a Copper—a special event that brought together parishioners, local leaders, and the police for a relaxed and friendly morning.

We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Solihull, along with Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, Member of Parliament for Solihull West and Shirley. We were also delighted to be joined by Councillors James Bradley and Michael Carthew, whose presence added greatly to the sense of civic pride and engagement.

Father Biju and Father Austin thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet and spend time with the Mayor, councillors, and members of the local police force. It was a wonderful occasion filled with open conversation, shared laughter, and meaningful connections, reflecting the strong bond between our parish and the wider community.

The event provided a welcoming space for parishioners to engage with local representatives, ask questions, and learn more about the important work being done to keep our community safe and supported. Over cups of coffee and friendly chats, a true sense of togetherness was felt throughout the morning.

Adding to the joy of the occasion, two of our children who had recently made their First Holy Communion were warmly greeted by our guests.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our distinguished guests and to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success. It was truly a joyful and memorable gathering, and we look forward to hosting many more community events in the future.
